the real one? Or the R/C one?

What if pilots want to go different targets? Stronger win?
And why is right wing wider than left one?

I found this pic by accident and realize it's a R/C, but I understand they actually made these right after WW2 ended. I've never seen or heard of these before.
And I didn't notice the difference in the wings until now. That is strange.

I think its just the angle we are looking at...or the angle the picture was taken from.

I just did some checking and these were made to replace the P-61 night fighters. They were first used over Korea as long range escort with pilot and co-pilot/navigator.This aircraft actually claimed the first 3 kills in the Korean War. The P-82F and G models carried a radar operator instead of a co-pilot.

They are about to start the restoration of one of these at the local airport/museum.  I will post pics if I can get over there and get some before they start on the restore.

What's not to like?

*Two* Merlins, in stereo --ear candy--

*Ten* fifty cal's ..4 right on the centerline, 3 in each outer wing panel ..ya we can lay some hurt down bay-bee!

I'd fly it :)
