Can we have air brakes??!?!?!?!?!?! I cant tell you how many overshoots I would of forced with air brakes. :aok

there are certain planes already with them...I never use em myself.. I believe the p-38L p-47n and the stuka  have them.. I been known to be wrong a time or 2 though :salute

All the planes that we have, that had air brakes ... have air brakes.

You will never see air brakes on a plane that didn't have them.

I believe that the TBM has air/dive brakes too.

All aircraft that had airbrakes in real life have airbrakes in Aces High.

Just to clarify, the P38 does not have dive brakes.  The 38L had a dive flap that was designed to help the A/C recover from a dive that was approaching compressibility. They will not slow you down in a dive, rather they will merely pitch the nose up somewhat.


In the game the SBD, D3A, JU87 have dive brakes.   

(never really fly it does the JU88 have them?)

Yep. It was designed to be able to dive bomb as well as level bomb (which resulted in the 2 engine configuration as well as the dive flaps).
