Ehh isn't that going too far? There's times now the arena is empty because the blooming war map is porked. I'd rather see efforts put into something keeping the arena open and active than something requiring registration and schedules.

Oldbull, donīt get it wrong, I understand very well how important is to have good buff drivers like you chaps involved. But, just try to see it as a small break between wars. A relaxation time, just for a couple of days. And it could be an interesting change, too. Try to see it from my point of view: I like to fly fighters and I lost count on the desperate bomb runs, hauling iron to Axis targets in frame two! I even learned how to use the bombsight properly, a first in almost 10 years of online flying! And I got a few hits, can you believe that?!

Seriously, we should have some kind of crazy R&R fun between wars...Jeep races, plane races, bomber duels, something crazy...

It's a bit like an event between events.  I think the time between wars is partly a cool-down time for the staff and something pretty basic and self-sustaining so the planning and setup can begin for the next war or event.  Might be fun to try as an event (war) though.
