Yes, but if you cannot control the B-24 at high alts with cross-winds, where are you going to go? You got no trim. You got no control, it would be very easy to lose control of your plane. A different engine (dont know which one) definately made Electricity go out. May have been the #3 engine.

You obviously have no experience flying the real airplane, you're statements are incorrect.  At altitude the airplane doesn't know or care if there is a "cross wind" ( a term only used during landing and takeoff).  The trim is a mechanical cable link from the tab to the trim wheels, the loss of an engine has no effect on trim.  You most certainly do have control, the loss of an engine doesn't effect the controls -- it does effect handling and performance but the loss of a single engine on the B-24 isn't that big of a deal unless you're real heavy in which case you may not be able to maintain altitude.  Unless you do something really stupid there is no risk of losing control. (And doing something really stupid can result in loss of control with all the engines running)  Again, each engine has a generator, the loss of an engine does not mean you lose electrical power.

I am type-rated in the B-24. I have just over 300 hours in the airplane and have flown it on 2 engines during training.

Don't ask me to use the search function on this one because I already have.

It is time we get the B-29. Perk it out somewhere in the 500 point range. No NUKE. NO Formation.

well im not an ANTI- b29, but i get annoyed with the multiple threads 'bout em.
the plane will not bring that much to the game because we already have decent High alt bombers, plus  its pointless to have a plane that can go higher than any others, wheres the fun in that

do you want the B29 for its bombing capability (doubt it), or the n00k (highly likely)?

back in the old days, say 2000,2001,2002, you used to be able to pilot a bomber and fire all weapons at the same time

B-24's #3 engine loss made you go down. That I know for a fact, I dont know exactly what did it, but you lost control when that engine was knocked out... I'll go dig up some quotes...

Where's Widewing when ya need him? He could confirm this. The B-24 wasn't safe at all compared to the B-17. :aok
