I made a model of this http://www.luft46.com/fw/fwbmw802.html using X-Plane aircraft maker utility, as best I could according to specs. I tried to err on the side of caution, giving it 200 less horsepower and a conservatively high coefficient of drag, and it STILL performs insane. Pushes up against the 400mph mark at sea-level, climbs at 4,500 fpm. Its got a high wingloading and snap-stalls bad though, although not as bad as the Fw-190.

I'd bribe HTC to model this thing and let me play with it in some sort of "what if?" arena.  :D

Can I get a copy of it?
Did you make your own .afl files or did you use the ones shipped with X-Plane? If you want some better ones I can make you a set from the drag polars if you wish :aok

About the only attractive airplane on that entire website, IMHO.  :aok

If you want. Caveat: No custom cockpit, and I'm running X-Plane 7. Thinking of buying 9 though. I really don't mess with X-Plane except on rainy winter days when I feel like doing something more creative than furballing in AHII.

I used an "interpolation" of one of the laminar flow airfoils and a symetrical airfoil. If I had a copy of a Fw-190 airfoil, that would no doubt be more appropriate.
