Lower radar coverage to the frickin' soil!!!
*sigh* Yes, I know radar can't cover to the soil. But in r/l, you'd have forces on the GROUND who would spot incoming, or at least guys out herding the sheep who could report in. NOE is at least 10 times more likely to take a base than any more realistic attack with reasonable numbers, and that sucks.
The problem with this though is simple...
The farmer would have to find a GERMAN patrol.
Which would then have to scramble to a HQ to find a radio.
Where they'd have to radio in LAST KNOWN coordinates.
Where that would then be forwarded by 5-10 other squads/divisions leaving room for human error...
And by the time thats all done...
Some airfield in the middle of god knows where (prolly p40...) is gone...
I enjoy the idea of lowering the altitude... but I think it should be different...
Keep it like it is, but have a red dot in the corner of the zone if theres a plane or more above 100 or so feet making NOE even harder, as if keeping our dweebs low isn't enough trouble...
