RIP
« on: July 24, 2008, 05:48:37 PM »
I normally don't do this on BBS's.   But, even though this past weekend was exceptional meeting about 50+ folks at Dayton from here, I am now thrust into reflection.   The reflecting part is borderline mild depression.

My Grandmother from my fathers side passed away this AM, quietly in her dining room.   Man does this hurt, she was 89.    One Grandparent left for me.

Please, take time to tell your Grandparents, parents, etc those three words.

<<S>> all, I'll be flying tonight to alleviate some of this.

Condolences.

My last grandparent died when she was 89 also, in 1989. I look forward to seeing her again one day.

... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB
