Thanks to the lumber jacks...but...
« on: October 09, 2001, 07:49:00 AM »
I know the trees were a pain prior to patch 2, and I thank HTC for clearing them.
I know it was probably easiest to create a circle of clear area around fields, but it seemed like a few of us voiced our pleasure in having them around the sides of the fields.
Is it possible we could have such a thing?

Further, would it be possible to clump trees into groups?  I don't recall ever seeing an area with trees so randomly spread. Sure, there is an occasional loner, but not very often.

I know you great folks at HTC are doing double time on fixes and CON efforts, so I won't expect to see anything before Oct. 15, 2001.  :D
Just kidding!

Perhaps this is something that a few trusted members of the community could do when we get an updated version of the "Editor" ?

Thanks,
Viper

For an island like mindanao you likely wouldn't see many clumps, u'd see one big clump with a few clear areas where habitations existed +)

For the euro maps though, yeah clumps, rows etc will enhance the terrain for sure, along with the farms, hedges etc...
