hey all,

i haven't been on too much, and finally had some time last night.

went into the TA, and saw the new terrain. it's great! flew a single bomber run on a cv, and felt it worked well. much better seeing that you hit or missed your target now.

 went and flew at A1 afterwards, and had a couple good fights with geophro, majqball, rebel, widewing, bigrat, and a couple others

 a word of warning. widewing says that he can take a 109 and win a duel with anyone in anything. well, i was in a hellkitty, him in a f4f. i figured even though he's a trainer, what the hell? what's the worst he could do in that piece of crap.

welllllllllllll lemme tell ya. he friggin kicked my assss!!!! he slowed it down, and i did see this, tried maneuvering up and over to drop back on his six, only thing was that i couldn't do it. so i went nose low, to bravely run away, and immediatly took hits. from the sound, they would've removed very important parts of my kitty had this been in the MA. i went into a scissors to try to force an overshoot, and he simply remained back there. like i had him on a tow rope or something. worse yet? EVERY SINGLE DAM TIME WE CORSSED, HE HIT ME WITH KILL SHOTS.  :mad: :furious :rofl

 the mans gunnery is incredible.


anyway, guys that were in there, great fights!!!!!!!!

whoever made that terrain........ :aok :aok :aok :aok :aok :aok :aok

final note......widewing is a dangerous man in any of these cartoon planes

I realise no one wants to talk smack about these old hands, but a 109?....
Are we talking about a k-4 or and E model or what?...(Oh christ im doing it arent I)
Ill take that challenge, lemme run down to the store and put some money on my greendot though lol. :rock

You tried to force an F4F to overshoot?  I didn't think that was possible.

109F-4...

However, the challenge was to the players that believe that the airplane is more important than the pilot. I offered those guys a chance to pick any prop fighter and duel my 109F-4. La-7, Spit16, whatever they want. The purpose it to establish that while the aircraft is a significant factor, pilot ability is a greater consideration. It's not about ego, or smack talk or even bragging rights. It's about learning and having fun while doing it. It's to promote the concept that having good ACM skills can offset flying the inferior fighter. These skills can be learned by anyone with the mind to make the effort.

it was the only thing i could think of. i wasn't pulling away from him fast enough to get out of his guns.

every time he hit me, it was kill shots,,,,,,or at least they sounded loud enough to be........

yep, and i learned a LOT last night. i learned

the ground hurts
the water hurts
the trees hurt
widewings bullets hurt
don't ever ever under-estimate your opponent....whihc i did even knowing who was in that f4f.

 i was however slightly pised(at me) for falling victem to your guns so easily
