Are you like me? Have you played this game for a few years?

Have you come to the conclusion that the most enjoyable
aspect of this game is strapping on a sexy fighter and mixing it up?

Have you found that the "ho everything in sight" mentality is about the most unsatisfactory
experience in this game?
(except against vultchers that is)

Do you not give a crap whether the base is lost or won?
(don't get me wrong i love those "capture guys" they give plenty of red targets)

Do you refuse to fly in a horde?

Will you switch sides without a misgiving ?
(fly for the low number side where the perks and targets are plentiful)

I'm looking to either form or join a like minded squad for some serious fighter fun.

What say you?

SoupCan,

The 361FG "Yellow Jackets" may be the right place for you. We fly bishop's witch i believe you already are one. We have 16 members to date and looking to expand out for more. We do take bases but that's normally in the morning's and early afternoons where there are not many people on. Our true passion is flying in groups of 2-4 or even more at times, we get together go from one base right to the other to "suppress" fighters. No not vulching. Even tho most people in the squad fly the P51 or P47 it is not a requirement, fly what you feel comfortable in.

We have no kids and or squeakers in the squad. Everyone is above the age of 18. The age average is about 35 to 40. I have flown with you before under my old name VansCrew when you were back in the LTAR's. If you want more information out web site is 361FG "yellow Jackets"

LTARs falling apart?
Not at all. In fact i believe they picked up 2 new recruits and one vet returned at the same
time i was leaving. LTAR has been around a long time and i'm sure they will continue to be
a thorn in many a foe's side for years to come.

Pffft -- LTAR is not going anywhere.

A year ago LTARKilz, now Kilz, and a couple others split off and formed the Guardian Angels.  In January LTARokit, now SWrokit, started the Spartans with several more.  I am sure there were others before my time.

Soup splitting is not going to be any kind of death knell for LTAR.  They will survive and thrive like they always have.

A little change now and then is good for everyone involved.

40th FS 'Fight'n Red Devils' Recruiting, we really can do just about anything except squad nights. On squad nights, you gotta be bishop, we're primarily bishop but we will switch from time to time depending on what the other members would like to do.

Check out our website:

http://40thfs.spruz.com

You can find our squadron history, medals, and ranks. You can also find our squadron video there.

40th FS was one of the only squads which actually liked their P-39s. In 1943, a group of 8 P-39s from the 40th FS ran into a group of 24 A6M zeros, downing 11 to no losses to themselves. It was the first time a P-39 had ever won such a lopsided battle.

Greebo has skinned our squad's P-47D25 and Rogerdee/Fester have skinned our P-39K 'White 23'

Squad nights are Tuesday as a 'co-op' squad night. (escorting bomber raids, fighter sweeps, perk runs...)
