screen shots from film viewer

I can take screen shots while in flight but can not take them from the film viewer. I have vista home premium. have tried  set as administrator and have tried it non administrator also. Any help appreciated

You would have to use the Windows print screen function then open a paint program and paste it into paint.  Or you can use FRAPS.

thanks. is this just a problem with vista or is this the way you do it with XP also?

please explain the prt scrn function button. is it a shift command? what should I see happening if operating correctly? Does it just save the shot in the background and then I would need to ctrl v to put in ms paint. thanks for anymore help.

You just hit the PrtScreen key. You won't notice anything. Then open MS Paint or any other picture editing program, and hit ctrl-v to paste.
That's all, and works the same way in XP as well as Vista.

well I think I have had this problem before with my wireless keyboard. prtscn does not work. but I did find a program that is really good called snagit with a free 30 day trial.
