there is a problem with that, Slipknot.

UH-1 entered service in 1963.
WW2 ended in 1945.

I thought slipknot got PNG'd.

the germans actually had a two rotor helicopter like a chinook.

transported mostly supplies and didnt have defense.

could be used for troops.

Focke was displaced by the National Socialists and he started a small company called Focke-Achgelis in which he devoted his full time to rotary wing aircraft. He conducted over 2,000 wind tunnel tests to prove his concept. He would go on to help design the first large helicopter, the Fa 223, that could lift 1,500 lbs. It had a cruise speed of 125 mph.1

Could carry light cargo or 2 250 kg bombs. Its main action was in the alps but the allies bombed them faster than they could make them.
In my opinion this could had make it VERY far as a light infantry support aircraft if also fitted with manned Mg's and if the factory's went bombed faster than they made them.

The US also had a chopper but saw EXTREMELY little to no action, Forgot the name but it was so light armor that there was a rumor once that a spear like object took it 1 down.

It looks like a glider fuesel loge with large reorders (the prop)...

Helicopters back then were still a fine-science. Even after WWII its main purpose was to transport injured soldiers. In other words, no thanks.

The UH-1 "Huey"s' main role was a a GUNSHIP but it saw many roles. And if this was a Vietnam Sim,the "Huey" would be and if not the first thing to be in it would be the 1st thing I(and probably many more)would ask for.

The U.S. also had a helicopter by Sikorsky that was used to transport supps to and from aircraft carriers or battleships to and from ships.

The UH-1 "Huey"s' main role was a a GUNSHIP but it saw many roles.

Actually transport.  UH=Utility Helicopter.  AH= Attack Helicopter.  AH-1  "Cobra" main roll was GUNSHIP.

Most Huey "Gunships" were modified in the field like the Guntrucks, by GI's hanging guns off of them.

Well there is a rule about vehicles being used in combat in WW11 to be eligible. The only copter that would fall under this rule is this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kayaba_Ka-1
