In every aspect this could be a snapshot, if not a FSO or Scenario.

Agreed.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

You're changing the subject Krusty. This thread is about Operation Hailstone and your objections have run out of steam.

If you wined the clock back one week, before history had the Japanese removing their assets, and install our CiC, then you comply with history.

They expected an attack, which is why they removed their assets, so you don't get to call it a sneak attack.

In every aspect this could be a snapshot, if not a FSO or Scenario.

Your objections are unfounded, and your negativity is uncalled for.

No, the subject is the same: Balance. Balance without having to resort to 100% fantasy situations. I was only using DGS as a good example.

Might as well ask "What would Midway have been like without the Japanese carriers?" or "What would D-Day have been like if the LW upped 1,000 fighters and had a turkey shoot on the C-47s?"

Again, there are far far far too many actually historical setups to bother making up fake ones, IMO.

Its a good Idea ,and has potential .. but I think it would do best as a snapshot , fso ,or a SNS <-- leaning on SNS type event.

Btw Krusty still dont get it ..
There's no such thing as a "Bad idea" or bad question... the only thing bad is the one thats never asked.

I sent Heater a copy of DGS for him to modify and offered any help after his first post.

That still stands and I agree, a SNS would be the best bet.

Going to need a map though... hmmm.

Galdy is even better than gladly.  "Galdy" is a mix of "gladly" and "goldenly," I believe, which means you are glad to help and are willing to back it with money, even.  Very good! :)
