Oh man when my mom was in an accident and I almost lost her. I think I never knew what fear really meant until that day. Also I was an atheist and that was the first time where I sat down and pray.

Having to watch my wife or child wasting away from something like cancer. I've already gone through something like that once. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Have to say mine would be dying before my wife or children. 

My wife and I talked about this once, I don't want them to have to deal with the pain that comes with the loss.

Terrified of heights. Like standing at the top of a tall building or tower freaks me out.  But yet I have my pilot's license and CFI.   ;)  Go figure.

Agreed, However I also have a fear that my children could live unproductive lives (using drugs living on the street, wasting the life that was given them)
