Wow, the democrats do it again and put another northeastern windbag on the presidential ticket. :huh  Maybe since it's the VP slot it won't be such a big misstep as Kerry.

We now know option #1.

Anxious to know option #2. McCain needs a smart, young, hard charger with mass appeal as Veep.

LOL.  The guy's been in the Senate for 30 years.... and this is the best you can do?  Laughable.  Did he pee his bed when he was in Kindergarten too?

Joe Biden

Good pick.  Biden covers his weakness on foreign policy.  To bad he can't pick another 6 VP's to cover all his other weakness'.

Whoopty frigging dooooo

Another windbag just like Obama. I am sure that McCain will choose some other appropriate DA to be his windbag as well.

just another reason I am voting for the less popular third choice...myself!

obama is going to change things, so he picks a senator who has been in the senate for 36 years, some change.

Thank God for a new direction and Change. Biden is a truly fresh face.

Oh, wait. Graduated from Law School in 1969 and elected Senator in 1972. Pretty amazing, that. Five will get you ten he was deferred during VietNam. He's never really had a job in the US economy other than 3 years as a lawyer fresh out of law school. He is the pentulitmate Washington insider.

Voted for Iraq2 but voted against the surge. His positions were so popular he finished 5th in the Iowa Caucuses and dropped out of the race.

He does admire Barack though: "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy, I mean, that's a storybook, man."

There's Change We Can Believe In.

This is as exciting as McC picking Romney.
