They're not side by side, the tubes you are seeing are stacked on top of each other. Kind of like an AK-47s gas collection tube. They work something like that, would be my guess. Or they have bolt springs in them, or something.

I would still use the 23mm, i have no problem killing tanks with it. The 37mm is probably going to be less accurate.

lower velocity, lower accuracy, lower rate of fire, and not as good to kill fighters.

The NS37 actually has MORE power (Joules) per round that hits than the BK3.7 does.

But BKs penetrates harder and deeper.

Yes, I know, but the raw joules per hit is higher. I guess that means things like flak turrets, aircraft, bombers, trains, etc, where armor penetration don't count, will be easier to kill.
