Ya know, I really like Joe...
Met him, actually got to sit down a talk to him...
And he's from my home state...

The guy puts the good of our country before
his ideology or party loyalty... Major plus in my book....

But he won't be the guy...

I think Sarah Palin would be his best bet.  Mitt is just too greasy, although it would make the ultra conservatives happy, I don't think it would secure the middle income vote.

I got excited this morning for about 10 minutes over that before I heard she was still in AK. She probably would have been a good pick in my eyes (from what little I know about her) but perhaps not for McCain's campaign because of the experience issue. I imagine McCain will still want that factor in his box of tools for the rest of the campaign.

This is one of those all too rare recently,  good strategic and sensible moments for the republicans..  sorta like putting the liberals feet to the fire on drilling and gun control and smashing in the heads of babies after they are born kinda thing.

They may be getting smarter..  surprising since they really don't have much competition to sharpen em up.
