I've always had something else than IE... at first Mosaic, then Netscape, then Firefox.

The only things I need IE for (and that is hardly ever) are MS updates and AH2 KILL STATS, which are so durned married with that infested IE dinosaur

I have never had a problem opening AH kill stats in Firefox OR Opera.

Actually it asks me if I want to save and quit or just quit.
I have my history set to zero so nobody opens a visited page by mistake

You can set up firefox to delete your browsing history automatically when you turn it off. Same for cookies. I use IE most of the time only for two reasons. It looks better on the graphics to me and I have the cookies and java controls set like I want where firefox doesn't seem to handle them the same way. I also have an online spell checker through the google bar.

FYI.... Google is supposed to put out a browser of their own pretty soon.

I did not write the stats perl script, but what is uses is part of the W3C HTML 4 spec.  Firefox just has not gotten around to implementing it yet.  I'll eventually re-write the stats program to make it use only basic HTML which should take care of the problem.

No, I do not use Firefox as the Sun Java stuff crashed my system and that was far too costly an experiment.

firefox is that super secret russian fighter that is invisible to radar, faster than anything in the air, and can be controled just by thinking what you want it to do.
 it's only problem is that you have to think it in russian.
