You know what, just for the hell of it and because someone mentioned it on another forum..I headed over to http://www.csmonitor.com/ because it's a Christan news site and I was interested in what they had to say because this person said to read the comments from readers in the articles about her.

I'm a bit amazed that most of the user commits are right in line with what I've been saying and these are Christians of all people. (oh the humanity) The deal is they are not only bashing her but are also bashing McCain for the poor decision making he's showed. So it seems like McCain has a pretty big rift in at least part of the Christian community and it's not a given they will vote Republican from the looks at the user comments on this well known Christian news site.

btw wouldn't it be a normal thing for a party having a convention to rake in a lot of money during it? How much did Obama raise during the DNC? I think it will be a bigger sign one way or another if the donations keep pouring in after a week or two.

Mayors tend to be for earmarks for their town.  Governors tend to be for earmarks for their states. It's sort of their job.

Seems that their primary goal is a call for the vote that they apparently never got in 1958. (I have not been able to confirm that yet.)

As far as the second option for voting, I seriously doubt that would be allowed to happen since the federal government purchased Alaska with taxpayer monies.

I saw that refrence to the Alaska Independence Party... made me smile; confirmed something else I like about her.

If my state referendumed for independence, I'd vote yes. Who the hell wouldn't want to throw off the federal yoke?

Christian Science (as a religion) is a spin off of mainstream Christianity as well and he is using it to show that the religious right is also against Palin......
