What do we have, 6, 7 threads about Palin? If she's such a great pick you have to wonder why all the effort defending her.

or trying to destroy her? :huh

For accuracy's sake, I think Palin's position is that schools should teach curriculums that the PARENTS want them to teach... in this case, creationism alongside evolution.

I happen to agree that PARENTS should be able to customize curriculums for what the local majority feel is important.  We shouldn't allow a liberal unionized centralized partisan federal institution to deny feedback and decision making on curriculums by parents.

No biology teacher of any worth is going to let a majority of parents tell him/her to teach creationism alongside evolution; they should quit their jobs rather than comply with such a mandate.  If it's so important to parents to ruin the scientific education of their children, they can homeschool them.

There are constitutional protections against a local majority of parents customizing the curriculum at their local public school, e.g. no religion except as a study of demographics or cultural customs.  That is how we protect minority rights, or better, the rights of the individual against the herd.

Well, there's two that McCain doesn't need to vet for cabinet positions.

Oh come on now you have to admit that's some funny stuff. They had just been on air talking about how great she was and talking up the whole party line for the TV. Then soon as they think they are off air, they start bashing both her and McCain and these are Conservative talking heads.

So when it's even the Republicans saying she doesn't have the needed experience and wasn't the best choice, then how can you guys blame the Democrats or the rest of the Media for doing the same?

You got to be kidding me, right?  I mean, the Presidential nominee for the democrats has a few months as a junior senator from Illinois?  Half his term was campaigning for the nomination.  His VP is a trash-talking anti-gun nut with very bad hair plugs.   Versus a distinguished veteran/PoW in McCain and the most popular governor in the country.  This is going to be the most lopsided victory for the Republican party in recent memory.

Hair plugs don't make him a travesty of 'change'... being a career politician and washington insider does. The hair plugs are just a humorous diversion.

Don't you guys wonder why we know more about Palin in a week than we do about Obama! Especially his associations with Ayers and others. Those aren't being investigated and anyone that looks is being squelched.

What's the deal here?  Also, her stance on teaching creation theory alongside evolution...why be so critical about that?  Would they attack a man with 5 kids the same way?

ah.. the daily show.....

I told you that the libs here would/were doing poor imitations of their hero... jon.."make a funny face" stewart who..  is now back at the top of his game.. now that the writers aren't on strike..   funny faces with no lines didn't seem to work tooooooo well did they?

so now.. after the jon "make a funny face" stewart imitations have fallen flat.. they go right to the source.

The reason they have to link it is because....

They are the only people who care.. everyone else sees the show for what it is..  a simple move on dot org in drag...  not worth watching.

Lazs, you're even funnier than the daily show.  You belong in a museum where more people could appreciate all of the outrageous invective you spew from behind a computer.

Notice how Palin doesn't complain but instead says that those who do complain reflect poorly on the rest? She says that instead of complaining, you should simply work harder. ;)

It does seem that Palin has knocked Obama out of the news Myelo, not just people here talking about her.

If my children (which I don't have any) have to listen to creationist propaganda in schools than they sure as hell better be hearing every version of creationist propaganda, namely about the Flying Spaghetti Monster.  http://www.venganza.org/about/open-letter/

Because it's only fair  :D
