can't maintain a 1:1 shouldn't be allowed to type on open channel :)

That be a bit harsh, but since I fully understand the problem, lets just say that everyone who get killed should be prevented of using any inter-country channel (including PM) for at least a minute.

That would save everyone some embarrassment during their AH career. :D

I can tell you that getting a kill in every sortie in MW isn't as easy as it is in the LW arenas.

The only time it's more difficult to get kills in the MW arena is when there is a lack of fights.  Well, at least I don't have any troubles getting a kill each sortie but as with all things with life YMMV.

I need to remember to put <sarcasm> tags in next time.  I always use that line to point out when someone is running their mouth who has major holes in their own game performance, and has little business trafficing banter on 200.
I don't really want a game mechanic for open channel, but I'd like to raise public awareness for the prevention of CTFiM disease (Channel Two hundered Foot in Mouth disease).  A prime example of CTFiM would be an effort to use the "go to the TA" zinger on an actual AH Trainer.

That's not a bad suggestion though bighorn ;)

How do you seem to find a "skilless dweeb" every time you log in?

How can you not find one everytime you log on?  Probably 6 out of every 10 players is a skilless 'tard.

The arenas are full of minimally experienced players at any given time? :)  That's not really the question you wanted to ask.  You want me to ponder how is it that I find a "vocal mediocre player" when I log on?  I already presented the theory on that though.  The difference between the last 4-5 months and my average playing habits is that I am not making a regular presence in the MAs.  I don't elicit these kinds of comments when I am posting 10 victories landed messages throughout the tour, so the defining factor is that these loudmouth players that I shoot down only come to my attention because they are ignorant of myself as a player.

While I don't expect everyone to know every other player in the game, I find it funny that these guys can't be bothered to type .score to see who they are calling out before opening their trap.  I may come off as arrogant sometimes when I drop a line like "maybe when YOUR game tips pop-up on MY arena load screen" "instead of vice-versa I'll consider your advise" on 200, but it seems like a reasonable reply to someone with a 0.6 k/d telling a 6 k/d player how to fly :)

Not that stats tell all.  They do not, but there are relative indicators in the stats of the calibre of player a person is, and possibly what "style" of player they are.

Interesting Murdr..

Would your first thought be that I was joking if I had not posted the second line to my question?  Because you understood the deep structure very well.   To the point to be exact...

Yes I see your theory as a valid one.

My experience in the game has been differant that's all..I do believe that most of my experience in the MA (if not all) is my responsibility and perhaps it has giving me a differant outcome.

I do realize that my question was personal. thank you for answering. I hope you dint see it as a personal attack. I just find it fascinating. One of my theories for not getting the verbal medicor players was the same as yours for getting them. Just makes me think that's all. <<S>>

Here is an interesting extention then.  I think a large factor is if things don't turn out as normally expected for a player.  If they are used to seeing a plane model as an easy target, but instead they get shot down by a "name" player, they're really not surprised.  If instead it was someone they've never heard of who beat them from the disadvantage, people are more prone to go on the verbal attack.  It works the opposite way too.  If they do shoot down the "name" player in the inferior plane, that is still a surprise that they beat them even with an advantage.  It often elicits a response.

I would theorize that an encounter that turns out as expected has a low likelyhood of turning into a text fight.  The varible is the pilot, and whether they are prone to beating the expected odds.  So the average AH pilot is less likely to get unsolicited attention on open channels, than those who are either well below or above average.  In the mix are the players who are average, or even below average, but want to be recognized as above average, and want to draw attention to themselves at every opportunity whether it is warrented or not.
