While I think the "fun factor" of the A-26 is awesome and would make alot of ppl happy, planes should rightfully be accorded priority more because of historical impact.
I-16,I-153, He111,He 177,Ju52, B-29, Hawk 75,PBY-5, Beaufighter, Seafire, Ki-43/44/45/100, D.520,MS 406,MB 152, ,Pe2, TU-2, Mig-3,P-63A, Yak-1/3, Me410,P-40N,, CR.32 all played a bigger part in the conflict to name a few (IMHO).

If it were all about fun we'd see the A-26, P-80,F8F and F7F before "2 weeks" were up. I flew some 190 sorties just because they are so similar to F8F and helped inspire the design! I'll go out on a limb and guess the Bearcat would have turned much better...*sigh

I think people that say we have to much US hardware in the game forget that lendlease was a big deal.
The reason the americans are so well represented here is that we produced most of the war winners, provided ALOT of hardware for our allies, and produced alot of excelent A/C in each class (fighter,bomber,meduim bomber,e.t.c.)

That said, sooner or later the A-26 is gonna be in the game, its at-least useful in the MA where the grand majority of players spend thier time, if not dominate.

I like the idea of the A-26, however I have an idea myself!

What about more versions of the A-20!  You know... other versions had 20mm cannons and different ordnance loadouts!

Im all for the A-26 after we get a Russian level bomber.

Hopefully somewhere in the master plan is another perk bomber. We do need another perk bomber, "maybe after the TU-2".

Now, as for why I think we should have this aeroplane next:

a) It came out in 3rd place in the vote HiTech Creations held, below the B-25 (first place) and the P-39 (second place).  We have had both the B-25 and P-39 added already, so it would make sense that the A-26 be added next.  After that, in my opinion the other planes in the vote should be added, according to what people wanted the most.  The results of that vote are in this thread:

b) It would be a very popular aeroplane amongst many players.  Whilst I am aware that there are a lot of people who want the He-111, the speed, survivability and firepower of the A-26 Invader would give it a very prominent role as a light bomber.

c) The A-26 is a good enough aeroplane in my view that it would be worthy of a perk point price.  If this were the case, it would give us all a much-needed way to spend our bomber perks (aside from the Ar-234).

Although i would like to see the Invader in AH, I would rather see more Japanese, Russian, and Italian aircraft.  There are some major gaps that need to be filled.

I voted for the A26 all the way through when we could vote.  I figured it would be in the game by now because it did so well in the vote.  So with that said...give me the A26 and free the 14!
