Anyone notice the new Blackout that we have? I like it. I like the change. 


Any other new small things that people have noticed?

Theres always been 2 types of black outs, I think that your just seeing the other one now since the update, have you d/l the new high res pack?

The 2 types of blackouts in the game are, the first is the whole screen slowly goes to black, the 2nd is the black out starts at the edges of the screen and slowly closes in on the center of the screen.  So are you seeing something other then one of these?

that's wrong. i believe the tunnel.....starting from the outter edges, and closing in is more like it happens in rl

I believe this is caused by driver corruption. You might want to check the bugs forum.

It's a video card issue that causes that.  Just restart the game and it will fix it.

1plus, if simply re-starting the game doesn't work, you might want to delete you texture cache and let it re-cache the textures on game start-up.  This has been the case for some, IIRC.

Happens to me every time i change resolutions if I don't restart the game and sometimes the puter. Once thats done tho it never returns until the next time you play with res.
