Thirty years ago my sensei told me 'there is no judochop there is no karate chop there is only CHOP!'  :D

I fly for the laughs and there are a lot of laughs in Aces High.

I've been flying AW and AH since 2/96 on a regular basis and it's all about the guys in the squads that I have flown with.  I'm not good at anything in the game but just enjoy the company of folks that I've known for 10-12 years.  It's a great stress relief as I work 12-18 hour shifts and rarely have days off consecutively and my wifey is a wonderful woman who understands my need for this therapy and doesn't jump into that dreaded "Wifey manned AcK".  I've only met a few of my online friends in person but I'm closer to some of my squaddies than I am my own real life half-brothers and sisters.  To me, It's more about the the pleasure of flying with a bunch of friends than killing others or porking stuff.  In early 1999 or so, I suffered a major skull fracture and had to learn to walk again and my squaddies helped me get flying again, I still don't have the coordination or reflexes to fly like I did then but they kept me going and trying and working.  I can fly (not worth squat) but I can fly and enjoy the game and I owe it mostly to my fellow squaddies and online friends in AirWarrior and Aces High.  I just feel fortunate to be able to be here with you all and enjoy it!

All the Best...

First it was killing, then it became friends, then finally killing friends.

For what reason do you fly Aces High? Is it for flying with squadies and having a good time? Is it a place to come home from work and relax?

I play Aces High for flying with squadies from both of my squadrons (364th and JG11) and for the Special Events.

Passion.
