Well, ya can't blame players for moving to
the opposite end of the map, when a player
shows up, who is so UBER, that there is
NO POSSIBLE COMPETITION for him..

He knows it, and enjoys it.. But many players
refuse to act as padding for his scorecard..
One of my flyin buddies calls it, "Feeding the dog"..
Most appropriate, cuz thats exactly what it is...

Please tell me, why someone would bother to
keep their machine on, and logged in to the game,
when 1 guy slaughters everything in sight???
LOL, the guy kills at 1k, with a tap of the trigger..
The angle or lead doesn't matter, splat yer ded...
Can't even get close enough to fight him, SPLAT AGAIN!!!
Its Obcenely unrealistic, and actually silly...

Answer; Ya don't give him another kill, ya just
go elsewhere, or logoff entirely...

Great for gameplay huh?

<S> RC

What is your in game name?

Those people I'm talking about don't want a fight. They JUST want to milk base after base while no one is on to stop them. You can see that in their score. Most of them have 60+ field captures in one tour.

Its so bad that I'm thinking of getting another account so I can just switch accounts when they start attacking the other side.

AHA! I finally know who Larry is now. :lol I stepped into MW awhile back looking to get some good pony v 38 fights and was hoping ackack and shuffler would show up and I got ackack and larry instead. He handled that 38 with alot of skill and promptly kicked my butt. I hadn't heard of him before but soon realized I could get a good clean fight out of him and a schoolin' all at the same time  :lol  <<S>> Truekill...err Larry

I have never moved to the opposite side of a map to get away from a fight.

To find a fight, yes.

Never felt that there was an uber pilot. There are good sticks in this game and they are usually found in the non-uber rides. If I run into one I try to keep coming back so that I can learn something. Moving to the opposite side of the map just teaches you how to be timid.

No, running away is not great for game play. Why on earth would you pay to play an air combat game and move away from the fight?

Oh, and finding good fights or milkrunners in MW depends on what time you are there. Later in the evening(after 10pm pst) the place seems to fill up with the milkers who only attack the low numbers side and undefended bases.

First off, I didn't "Run across the map from A Fight"...
I moved to another fight is all, lol...
A fight where I had a chance.. Ended up
getting a couple kills, and shot down twice...
The point being, I had a reasonable chance!!!

Was the guy "Uber"? Well, he was causing a
major problem with our attack in progress, so 3
of our better fighter guys (of those that were on)
went over there to keep him busy or kill him...
LOL, he wasted them too, fairly Easily...  I believe the
radio comment was, "There's something not right
about that guy"..and  "LOL heck yeah, he's too *%#$!ing
good for me"... Also some unmentionable comments...
Uber? I suppose it depends on perspective..

How am I gonna learn something from a Non Fight? The
guy turns his nose toward ya from 1000out, and pop,
back in the tower... LOL!!! Holy Smokes  :uhoh...
It wasn't a lucky shot either, he did it to others as well..
Too consistant to be luck..

Please notice, that I'm not accusing the guy of cheating...
Just wondering why I should allow myself to be blasted
repeatedly by a better pilot... And wondering why this super
aerokiller, was clubbin the baby seals with relish...
(looking for a good fight, as they always say? LOL, yeah right)

So, I'm supposed to just continue playing the baby seal
so he can club me in the head, right?  Or, as one guy put it,
"Feeding the dog"?  LOL, sorry, but thats not happenin...
I'll have a couple go's at him, then thats enough!!!

Timid Gameplay?  Takin off into a whole pack of hungry
Satans Playmates <S>, is hardly timid... Or being the last WW
on a Vbase dodging Lankstukas and Hellcats, (killing some)
until the Hngrs pop, ain't exactly timid either...

As far base taking? Whatever!!! I Don't really care...
If one of my buddies asks me to bring something, I do it..
Also, The word is, the reason so much (milkrunning, as you say)
goes on in the AM.. It's because if Rooks don't get a headstart,
the dayshift Knits will steamroller the whole map... 6 months
ago, Rooks were dominant in midwar, not anymore... So Rooks
grab what they can, and then trade it back for time and kills...
Trying to avoid losing the map entirely...

Midwar is Mapwin driven, thats why I like it.. The war is fought
across many bases.. When a big push starts rollin, thats when
the battle tempo goes UP... Lots of fun then...

Instead of whining about the guy that kills you, you should take the advice I offered in my previous post.  Learn what it takes to beat the other guy but I have a feeling that you are the kind that puts very little effort into things and expect things to be handed to you in a gold lined basket.  So, my final advise to you is get used to be bent over the couch.

Maybe try to up for a Secondary Airfield get some alt. fly to that field and work on the fight from there. But I guess that would require time and effort. Film your fights, Ask questions of people that kill you, Get better, Fly smart. Great for gameplay huh?

LOL..Ack-Ack is always so PC :lol

In nicer terms, I think if you would PM Larry and ask him what he sees you doing wrong he would help you.  Some won't but it depends on attitude.  Every time I engage Ack Ack I end up in the tower but its because of little mistakes in judgment that just takes repetition in seeing and learning.  I will get him some day :D

Well, I don't give a ratspoop about what Ack
has to say, he always finishes with some kind
of egotististical drivel anyway.. As if his ability
to diddle his pc better than somebody else
actually means something monumental in life...
Maybe it does to him... To me, Pfffft, LOL whatever!!!

Another way to put it..

If you have masochistic tendancies, then FEEL FREE...
But thats not for me!!!

Oh, and Ack... Bent over the couch???

dude,
all anyone is saying, is try different things. learn. film. see how they beat you before, and do something different.
when i lose to one of these guys, i ask em on open channel what i did wrong. i try to maximize my time, as i'm lucky to spend more than an hour or twa at a time ingame.
one guy sent me the film of our fights. i was able to hear the chatter on the other side, and not a single bad word was said about me.

i understand your viewpoint, as i intently avoid fights where there are known hotards, because as i stated, my gametime is limited, whereas some of these guys spend over 100 hours a month ingame.
i generally seek out the battles between a base and a cv, or a furball that ensued in an attempted base capture.

if you're getting picked, then launch from a different base, and pick the picker.

Well there it is in a short snip of your post. Your complete and total problem is your attitude and ego. You do not want help in any manner because your ego says that you are too good to need it. You may improve on your own all be it at a much slower pace. If you'd simply put your ego aside and accept suggestions and some criticism, you'd improve at a much quicker pace.

I'd suggest you grow a thicker skin too..... this is a game and all in fun.

From his comments about that other guy "guy turns his nose toward ya from 1000out, and pop,
back in the tower..."
I'm guessing he is eather "Razzz", "Ratpack1", or "Biggamer" or "TomHrn3". Two of them were crying the other day when they were trying to gang and B&Z my poor Il2, and instead of letting them I pointed my nose at them and watched as they kept on coming. Almost every time they ended up with a face full of 37mm in the tower whining that all I could do is HO.

So my question for you "RipChord929" which one are you?
