George Will nukes McCain
« on: September 23, 2008, 01:17:57 PM »
Hey... just came across this on the Washington Post

George F. Will wrote an op-ed that isn't very flattering for Sen McCain... it is clearly not an endorsement of Obama, and I'm not claiming it is.

But I am curious what the conservatives on this board have to say about it.

sorry about the salacious thread title... just seeking readers

Hmm... I wouldn't say the piece was not slanted. I tend to agree with McCain. Time to make the alphabet soup pile of government agency heads accountable for performance and oversight.

Handing medals to agency leaders that preside over failures is no way to grow confidence in government.

.. oh, and McCain would fire Cox.. not execute him.

Apparently Will is a know fan and supporter of Chris Cox. McCain may or may not be correct in his views on Cox. But, Will may very well be suffering an ego tweak, as a criticism of Cox is by reflection a criticism of Wills judgement.

He pretty much said the basic problem with McCain with out actually saying it. The simple fact is McCain has a long history of being hot headed and saying stuff with out thinking it through or with out having all the information needed. That is a very dangerous thing in someone that could be at the helm of this nation's future and be in charge of national security. McCain just does not think things through he is rash and jumps into problems, a prefect example is his VP pick. She was so bad of a pick, they have to hide her away from the press.

I don't think I've ever seen Joe Biden tell someone to "F" off on the Senate floor and storm out of the room because he couldn't get his way.

That's because bin biden is a liberal weenie that's afraid to call a spade a spade.. let alone back the rhetoric with concise action.
