New (used) car for me!
« on: September 23, 2008, 03:36:34 PM »
Had it about a month now...2003 Mustang GT.  Bought it for my gas saver as my truck was killing in with it's 12 MPG and 25 gallon tank.  Last week filled it up for 95.00!!!   Anyway here's the before and after pics.

Soon after I bought it:

After some money spent: Rims 18x9 front and 18x10 rear, 275/40 front tires and 285/35 rears, Mach 1 front lip, shorty antenna, FlowMaster super 44's mufflers.  Future mods include are going to be mainly suspension because I love the curves.  Thats my youngest daughter in the one pic....she wouldn't move...lol

Wheels and lip made a huge difference.  It actually looks good!

Looks good Stroker. Definitely needs lowering springs though. I used BBKs for my '83 way back in the day but I tried Intrax a couple years ago on my Crossfire and they actually rode better than stock! Don't forget about the 3.73s either. They will make a very big difference in acceleration. Good luck.  :salute

You need to add a killer stereo. Makes 'em go faster. ;)

Nice ride, btw.

Yeah springs are a must but won't stop there as far as suspension goes.  Wish I had a pic of the car I drove in nice weather while in HS...65 Galaxie 500 2 door hard top. ragoon red with 352 BB.  I was nice even if it was old when I had it.

Nice goat!  I am a Ford guy but when it comes to 60's muscle cars I like'em all.

Hey this car is getting 20+ MPG plus it's alot more fun to drive than my 99 F-150 witha 5.4 that loves dead dinosaurs.

Redtop is that one of the new 1 series beemers?  Never looked at one up close but I always dreamed of a late 80's 5 series...not sure why but I loved the looks of that car.

No sir...2008 3 series. 328i I got it used believe it or not. 8k+ miles on it. It's a great car. Right now I am averaging 26.6 MPH for all driving. City and Highway. It gets great mileage. It take premium. But on a tank and an 1/8th I got just over 500 miles. Pretty damn good. I don't dog it. It handles better than my 99 c5 vette did. I'm enjoying it a ton.

Nice stang ya have there and the wheels set it off great.
