Fairey Firefly
« on: September 24, 2008, 03:57:11 PM »
We need a Brit CV strike airplane dont we? http://www.warbirdalley.com/firefly.htm

Were talking about, arguably, the best navy in the world at the start of the war. The first real pioneers of carrier based power projection. And all we have to show for it in the game is the seafire?

The RN deserves better. Please bring on the Firefly. Thank you.

I think the one you pictured, with the wing radiators, is quite pretty.  Unfortunatelyn it si also post-war.

The wartime version has a chin mounted radiator and is hideous.

Still, it would be a very nice addition.

It has very cool flaps too.

Asked for this a few times before, would be a really good addition.

Add it, the Seafire isnt enough to justify a UK presence on a CV. Give em the whole WW2 CV planeset (Barracuda, Swordfish, Sea Gladiator, Sea Hurricane, ect...)

Looks weird... sorry, I'm not that big of a British guy.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.
