"Talking Points Democratic Flak", what a joke.
« on: September 25, 2008, 10:06:31 AM »
Flipping through the tv channels, I stop on Fox to hear the discussion between news guy and a democratic Obama flak, and they are discussing McCain wanting to go to Washington to deal with the economic situation, and Obama instead wanting to have the debate.

She say "Obama feels the American people want to hear how their leader tell how he would deal with the economic situation".

But, on the other hand, we have McCain who is dealing with the situation, not sitting around talking about how he would deal with it.

Who would you rather have as a leader, someone who talks about how to get things done, or someone who puts aside personal ambition and goes about getting things done?

Want someone to talk, or someone who takes action?

Easy choice.

Don't forget the part where Obama refused all the offers for townhall debates prior to the crisis.

Yes, lets have a debate when legislation actually needs to be passed, but completely ignore any prospect of a debate when there's nothing at all going on except for smiling at cameras and reading teleprompters.  :lol

McCain, for all his posturing about headed back to Washington to "pitch in", hasn't bothered to read the f***ing Paulson plan, and the damn thing is only three pages long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:

ANCHOR: As for the massive Wall Street bailout McCain insists it have...

JSM: Oversight that is effective and transparent. We need people like Warren Buffet and Mike Bloomberg and Mitt Romney to have an oversight of this. We can’t put that responsibility in the hands of one person.

ANCHOR: The crunch question. Would you vote for it as it’s presently constructed?

JSM: I have not had a chance to see it in writing so I have to examine that.

----

You haven't seen it in writing? Oh, I forgot - your staff don't have computers. Maybe somebody could run down to the copy store and print you one. It takes 15 minutes to read.

Oh, that's right - you are suspending the campaign, cancelling Letterman. Oh wait! You were on with Katie Couric yesterday, taking cheap shots at Obama.

McCain is ducking you, the American people, in a public forum where the mess he could stand to inherit in 40 days, is being discussed.

So, he won't discuss the issue because he needs to "help". With legislation being kicked around in back rooms every hour of every day now - he still hasn't read the plan.

McCain - not a chickenhawk, just a chickenpoop.

You obviously don't understand, the plan is back in Washington, he has to go there so he can read it.

Wow, I am awed by the stupid comments.

The plan is 3 pages long, he can read it.  How can it escape even dull minds that maybe, just maybe he doesn't like it, doesn't agree with it, and wants to go to Washington to fix it?  (Of course if he was like Obama, he would say "screw the economy, screw the country, I just want to focus on being elected President")

Every day I thank the Lord he gave me enough brains I am not stuck being a democrat.

As Ann Coulter says "If democrats had any brains, they'd be Republicans".    :rofl

Reading the plan, and going to where all the people are to negotiate changes and vote on the plan, are 2 different things. Kind of silly to push that argument.

It's the only straw the disadvantaged can grasp at now I guess.

It's both a funny line and a true line.  Sorry you can't see that.

Obama doesn't see the need in going back to vote on it because he would just vote "Present" anyway.

US has seen crisis before, and the most important democratic process continues (debates).
