What's wrong with him flying a LA-7?

Nothing wrong with the plane, but in this case the reputation of the La-7 is garnered through pilots like NEARY.  No appreciable skill so they fly a fast plane and pick those that are either engaged in other fight or in his example with the P-47s, coming out of an attack run.  Basically, he's a picker.  So in this case, his flying the La-7 speaks volumes about his skills.

Kind of an iffy subject for me, especially in the month of August.  I have focused mostly on the A-20G for the summer.  In August, I did not take down a particular plane more than 10 times in that tour.  However, I took down 43 Panzers and 37 Wirblewinds, while keeping a very nice kill/death ratio.

The high number of bomber kills makes sense because I spent a lot of time in the 190A-8 with the 4x20mm package, and sought out whichever bombers I could find.  Otherwise, I told ya there are too many Spits!

NEARY, last tour you killed 7 Seafires, but only 3 P-47s (of all types).

Well, here's my top five from two tours ago...  (I went to two tours ago simply because a leg surgery prevented me from flying for more then half of last tour).

for me that would be jugs.when they get low they are dead. i love avoiding a ho with one then getting behind it and shooting the tail off. i can't stop myself from wasting some extra bullets on it to knock off the wings when it is already falling to the ground from it's tail loss.
for me jugs are easy prey. especially when one goes to tank town and thinks it can outrun my la-7 while trying to kill gvs it is so fun. they are big,fat targets in my opinion.

Yes, people in LA7s that think jugs are an easy kill

There are far too many p51's being killed. When are people going to figure out that the 51 isn't very good for a  late war plane, and get out of them?

I tend to go after 51's the most.
Reason being, they are rarely piloted well. There are exceptions and I have encountered a few very good pony pilots.
Most new people choose the P51 because it's one of the most known, especially to younger pilots.
I know my first plane I flew was the P51.

Neary, you should respect the P47 more. I enjoy getting low and slow in it because most people think the same way you do.
I can't recall how many times I've made someone over shoot me at low speeds.
