Frame 1 Results

Was fun Fso for the 13th.  1st of all, would like to apologize to Nef for 13th's Low numbers.  We usually stack the slots, but this time we were short.

Our b24's climbed out of A69 with the 327th Steel Talons as escorts.  We had 11 people show, instead of our usual 20.
 We  put 2 of our guys into the 38's available as close escorts. B24's total was 9 formations and lost one plane due to a tights turn.   13th arrived at 23K, halfway to 65.  We had little opposition heading into target. Some low 109's were spotted and chased by our escorts.  Was a great ride into target. 

Bombs were dropped onto 65 and we then headed home.  With 2 hangers left, we let 3 formations (markakis,K10,and Spiderad) return to finish 65 off. Great job 13th.

The Haze were in those 109's at A65....
I had to make the call to come in at higher alt, or lower alt, and due to escorting our own stukas, I made the call to come in at lower altitude. We had a difficult time dealing with those 38's on perch above A65. We got our stukas landed, which is what our orders had us doing. Just stunk that we had to try and climb into that fight with the 38's. Nice job.
