At least 30 without bombs (irc it is 32 troops & supplies). If 10 troops, then 1500kg of ords; say 3x500kg or 6x250kg; 20 troops, prob. only 1x500kg or 2x250kg bombs.  The SM.82 had two decks, troops in lower deck & cargo above; with bombs the upper deck was removed & troop capacity was reduced.  If 4000kg ords are carried there is no room for troops or supplies.

I believe HT went ovr this before...if he made a troop carrier with the ability to carry 30 troops, the maproom would have to be upped and 30 troops would have to go in to make the base cap.

Carrying bombs for the last few bldg's, defensive guns, and 20 troops..
I think it might actually have an effect in game as well..
Changes in tactics, add new dimension...

Game needs something new, MA's are gettin kinda stale..

Piffle & Phooey I say!  HT can make it whatever he wants (for better or worse); HOWEVER if this lovely klunker were brought in & troop cap set at 10, then you could take three bases in one run (on the order of 0.001% chance).  Like I suggested, perk it for the abilities of more than 10 troops, having ords & def. armament.

Make me WANT to fly goonzies!!!

The C47 could carry 28 troops. 10 troops for capture and 10 troops to drop was a gameplay choice, not based on aircraft limitations.
