Some fear the elimination of affirmative action, limits on welfare and food stamps, being forced to accept responsibility for their own lives.   :cry  Stuff like that.   They are hoping a black president will prevent them being forced into having to work a full time job, pay for their own food, and not get treated with the kids gloves currently required by all the PC run-amok liberals who will surely destroy the country in the long run.

What  a racists view dego. As many blacks that vote for Obama, Mccain will have more whites voting for him because Obama is black(Which is not true). The actual ratio may finally balance itself out so it will probably be somewhat of a wash. Why bother making a comment.

ALL MEDIA AND POLLS SHOW THIS WILL REALLY BE A NON ISSUE IN THIS ELECTION.


I am not sure how to read your opinion. At 1st it seems like you think this is wrong but by your last comment it looks like you are bitter/ If a black wants to vote for Obama because he/she thinks black president will be best for their race or nationality, so be it. Let them. I don't think there is mass people buying into this subject. How many voters vote democratic just because they are democrat or vise versa/ At the end of the day it all balances out.


I just wonder if George Lopez runs someday. Get the drift.

They are even running ads saying that if you are not currently incarcerated you may vote.

Used to be that if you had been incarcerated you lost your voting rights.

I believe that folks being financially supported by the government should not be able to vote either. A candidate can play to that crowd by offering more money.... buying votes.

Had a black kid walk into the bar the Friday night wearing an Obama 2008 t-shirt. He ended up sitting next to me and when I asked him why he was supporting Obama he flat out told me, "Because we need a black President." When I further asked him about Obamas policies and stances on issues he told me, "I don't care about any of that crap, he's black so I'm voting for him." Kid was maybe 22-24 years old. Young Navy guy that I've seen in there a bunch of times. Kid doesn't know or care about Obamas voting record, stances on any issues, nothing, but he's black so he's voting for him.

I think that's the only reason why many black people will vote for him. They don't know or even care about anything other than he's black and "we need a black President"   Really sad that the people that will decide our collective future don't even take the time to try and understand what's at stake here. I felt like I was talking to a brick wall with that kid. His girlfriend wasn't much better. She told me, "I don't agree with alot of his stances on the issues but he's black so I have to vote for him."  Have to?? Makes you wonder what goes on in peoples heads.
