I think the point was that he fought, risked his life, and took extreme pain for his country.  Not only that, he then became very politically active within the country.  I'm pretty sure he's qualified to run for presidency.

Ok let's see...This thread was more and likely started as a "joke" by Meddog who probably really isn't running for President. That's just my best guess anyways. So that being said, please take the political debate to another thread. This one started out to funny until someone decided to start knob gobbling McCain.

But since we're on the topic now(remember Skuzzy, I'm not the one who hijacked this thread). Please explain to me why all I hear from hardcore McCain supporters is how qualified he is because he was shot down and a POW. I'm a vet and I served in Just Cause and Desert Shield/Storm and I didn't get captured, plus I haven't been raping the American people silly for 30 years. That makes me even more qualified according to the Grand Ole' Party.

This was a link that was sent to one of my squad mates who in turn, because of my player ID, sent this to me and the rest of the squad because we all thought it was a hoot and i thought the forum might as wll.
