oh and why when ever i try landing on a carrier i crash eaither by a hard landing or missed landing because of g's

When landing on the carrier you need to use your hook to grab one of a few cabbles with the hook of yours that are stretched out in ~20 feet of length right at the back of the deck.  If you dont come in too hard/fast (or too slow) and hit it right on the money (unlike landing on a runway, where you can land anywhere you want as long as there is enough room for you to hit the brakes and come to a stop), you'll come to a complete stop on the deck in less than a second.... if you don't (and you'll know you hit it or not real fast), gun the throttle and prepare to take back off, you're about to go flying off the front of that deck and will need to go around for another pass.
