AVA 10/31/08
« on: November 01, 2008, 02:48:02 PM »
Last night found the British dogs more obnoxious then ever. As our glorious Third reich pilots battled it out with the Dark side, they starting coming out in higher numbers. battles were epic and at times 5V5 was the norm.

Later on the brits were trying to find something at 20k. i think they were looking for English swallows at that alt. or was that african swallows? who knows. just a hint, most of the Axis fight at 5k or below.   :D

JG54 is the Commanding Axis squadron, and are giving the Allied dogs a run for their money. channel 200 has been very civilized and we hope it stays that way. sometimes not saying anything is the better part of valor. its been a very fun week over all.

JG54 launched a Bombing run late last night but due to the swarms of pesky brits, its position was given away and the mission had many difficulties. shane08 managed to get a couple of lucky kills on Jaeger1 but the rest of the bombers got through.

Cgar seemed to cause his share of headached but jaeger  kept him at bay by distracting him numerous times. Actually cgar i was getting tired of seeing your name. great fights hehehe  :salute

Over all its been a fun week! lets keep it up. if you would like to check out the AVA its alot of fun. JG54 and the 353's and some of the other squads are in there. you will find the premier pilots of the game playing in there. remember MA tactics are not appreciated in the AVA. we like it civilized. no or not much hoing, vulching, that sort of thing. it happens but just not very often.

come check it out, its fun and exciting and everyone is willing to help the new guy.

Salute to all that have participated this week. Keep up the good work!!  :salute

Wrong thread but a good friend asked me to send a message to JG54.  I found Okllok in the DA last night and the guy could not stop asking about you.  He told me to say hello to Storch and TK specifically so if you see them please pass this along  :lol

Yeah, I didn't understand why you guys were coming in at 25k ft.  You could have come in at 15k ft and still been above all of us.  In the end I decided to give you a taste of your own medicine and successfully bounced a pair of 24k Spits from my perch at 29k ft. ;)  I also caught a Hurri that was pretty high up (think it was you oak).  You can't rely on the break turn that high up. :P

It was a fun night.  Thanx for the good fights 353rd.

In fairness, I think Vulcan unintentionally started off the alt-monkeying while flying a 109.  He had a couple-three bandits, and started to climb to try to gain an advantage.  They followed him up, and more joined.  He was asking for a good five minutes if anyone could get to him to help.  At one point IIRC he announced on country he was passing 25K with 6 allieds still following him up, which was only a moment after asking whether the 109e or SpitI was better at 30K.
