A couple ideas...

Dunno if any of this is on the plate for implementation by Hitech, Pyro & Gang, but I'll toss it out anyway.

Different hit sounds for different ordinance:  Seems like there should be a much more menacing "ping" when your tank gets hit with a 75mm projectile or 1000lb bomb than with a .303 machine gun.

A Halftrack/Truck troop transport vehicle:  The land-locked version of a goon, enabling base captures without ever leaving the ground.

Good idea Gordo, but I think HTC  would like the community to tackle  things  as  such.  I know that AKWabbit has already done so, can't remember if  there are individual sounds for above mentioned or not?...anyway, since we're on the same subject, I'd like to see a different color tracer  for cannons vs. pea shooters (.50, .303 ) so when me cannons go south  I know its  time to be "not so aggressive", if ya know what I mean

Thanks, Rip.  I don't think that you can do that right now.  I was under the impression you could change the hit sound you hear in tanks, say to a huge explosion that would be more indicative of a 75mm cannon hitting you, but then that is also the sound you would hear when you were shot by machine guns from a straffing plane.  I'd love for someone to tell me I am wrong, tho.
