Big fan of the series here
Engine you have been miss informed.
I play it on the 360, put the CD in and don't worry about frame rate & video drivers issues.I found the fallout universe to be as fidel as the previous series, and definitly as entertaining. The cutie cutie 50s propaganda cynicla humor is evrywhere and still delectable. The universe is awsome to the lettle details. The way the costume, weapons, robots look is dead on to me for mthe Fallout universe.
I tried to start an evil character, after blowing up the Overseers head, I couldn't get myself to be mean to nice people
My Karma is so pathetically high that people randomly show up to give me free stuff. I guess I'll have to blow up Megaton to level my Karma back down. I play on medium, and with 100 small arms I had no problem reaching Rivet City with a scoped 44, and a hunting rifle. You don't have to run guns blazing on everything that moves, I could sneack in at night, going around pockets of opposition, shooting my way out when detected.
You don't always have to have the biggest gun, and I like that.
I did picked up a BOS pwr armor, by point blank blowing the head off a BOS outcast cruising the wasteland, b ut I can't use it. I actually don't need the armor for now the way I engage enemies. Those Super Mutants crack me up, they remind me of the Orcs in Warhammer.
I love the first person, VATS switch possibilities, it's like 2 games at once. The Karma is a cool feature. I just like roaming around the wasteland exploring in my blood covered surgeon outfit with my round google leathered mask. I proceed with care, my ovaries are giggeling everytime a structure stands out on the horizon. Moreover I pick my fights and travel light. I play it Mad Max style and that's a hell of a fun.
FO3 really gives you the choice of who you want to be and how you can play with it.
