can we have vehicle icons turned off for those in the tower?
did a sneak on 32 today, and sat in the bomber hanger closest to the map room and watch a panzer sitting at the map room. A friendly panzer came along and kill the enemy panzer and I bolted from the hanger for the map room. Someone saw my icon from the tower, grabbed an M16 and foiled the capture.

It was intense running for the hanger with a panzer and an M16 on the field, and hiding wondering if they'd see me. But getting busted like that just sucked.

Actually they could turn vehicle icons off entirely IMO.

I dinnae mind the 1500yd icons for planes. A plane has to be on the deck hunting for vehicles, and an unwary pilot might find himself shot down before he knows what's going on if he stumbles across an M16 (or the new ostwind

)

The icons from the tower are a real pain though. Minus, the M16 that caught me earlier today, complimented me on an excellent sneak and told me he saw my icon from the tower. The field of view from the tower and coloring of the ground of the fields is such that you dinnae need icons to see vehicles. especially since the map room is so close to the tower on the fields.
