Even if you were a shade, why should anybody even care?

I'm not saying he's a shade or not, although I suspect he is, but if he were that would make him a liar.  Most reasonable people don't condone lying beyond the little white lies that might save someone from hurt feelings, etc.

While this case might not be to the extreem of someone who claims to be a doctor but isn't (how would you feel about visiting that doctor?) it is a detriment to the community nonetheless as he would be dupping the entire community into believing that he's something he's not.

If he can't be trusted to tell the truth, what else might he not be trusted with?

On a larger scale, what's the difference between this and killing shade accounts?  Neither "hurt" anyone.  I guess we should get rid of community standards altogether then.

Even pleasure man understands basic morals even if he overlooks them at (most) times.

What I find intriguing is how many people post "OMG WHO CARES, U GUYS SAY U DONT CARE BUT THEN UR LIKE CARING..." just makes me go 
I guess I care about not letting the game degrade into a cesspool of pathetic behaviour (well more than it already is). Of course I also find it amusing to partake in all the poopflinging (and the occasional but accidental swallowing of said poop)

I would imagine the thought process goes something like "How can I BE ABOVE  EVERYONE ELSE WHO POSTED HERE?!?... AHH!!!!!" -> fail.

Who gives a crap if SkyTiger is a shade, some 'sleeper' AH stick who just started, or even Hitech himself.

This is the reason we don't have channel 1 anymore, we don't have political discussions on this forum, and the reason why the community isn't anywhere near as tight-knit as it should be.

It's about the lack of respect being directed towards me in the game.

I would consider a lack of respect something like sending profane private messages to another player in the game.  Or starting a thread about another players behavior when it is specifically against the bulletin board rules.  Or walking into a new community and start going on a public tirade against one of the more respected community members. 

Oh, there's that word again...respect...or "more respected" as it were.  How does one get that "more respected" part?  Oh, right that's earned, by ones actions and how they treat other people.

Well.  As an AH Trainer, I personally feel I go above and beyond welcoming new players and getting them familiar with the game and community.  So I'll take the opportunity to offer some advise...

Senoir drill instructoer used to do this, after about 9 hrs of playing in the sand pit,....all recruits dont wanna be a marine no more,......senoir di, say's, stand at attention mob.......pulls his eyelid down, ...asks politely if we see any concern in there, we all respond "no?"....then we get back to thrashin,....suck it up princess.

So, I talk to the guy in Germany and he says the Japanese are kicking up a fuss, can I work with the guys in Australia and sub-contract instead to the guys in Germany so the Japanese won't kick up such a fuss, as it helps with working in Japan because I wouldn't really be working, I'd just be doing preliminary work to the subsequent work which the Japanese are kicking up a fuss about because I'm a contractor, and so the taxes are different.

I had a picture of Aretha Franklin around here somewhere - has she exploded yet?

Oh, and can I have 25 billion bucks so I don't have to sub-contract so much?
