Read the whole article - not just the first line
The problem with this country is lack of reading comprehension
i read all three entire articles. was there something that i missed? 2 of them were just quotes of sorts. one was a full article discussing the history of the right to vote being granted to various parties.
but it still does not change the fact that it is the electoral college that votes in our president and constitutionally (federal) the average citizen doesn't possess the "right" to vote for him/her. there have been amendments and laws enacted to help provide a safe guard against any form of legislation being enacted by a state that would intentionally prejudice or disenfranchise a group of people from voting. but this has still not changed the fact that if your state chooses not to give the populace the right to vote for president it doesn't have to.
basic rule of thumb, if you do for one then you must do for all. but if you deny all equally it is constitutional.
the only body truly empowered by constitution to vote for our president is the electoral college.
if i am missing or misunderstanding something then please post something that i can read. be it a link to a site or just a supported observation written by yourself. i say this not in sarcasm or in any other malicious manner, but truly from a want to be informed.
