190F-8 rockets

I was in a gv fight today, and even had 13 kills before a P-47 dropped a bomb on my head.  So, I decided to come back in a 190F-8.  My loadout was 1x500kg bomb and 12 rockets.  I always use shift-F4 to see ground vehicles, which doesn't show up in the film, but you can still see the M4s well enough to get a sense of how I attack.

Very good, I love rockets but have a hard time hitting GV's w my f6, f4u, p38 rockets. Used to be once I hit one it would bounce off or I would land right next to them.

On your first F-8 rocket hit it was dead on. Your 2nd was an asisst which I never get because it landed close and your third you had 1 near miss behind him and the second hit just barely him in the left front lower track for the kill   WTFG

Firing 2 or 3 at a time does seem to help and having 12 rocks on the F-8 means more chances for hits.

Think I'll be checking that plane out more often. I keep forgetting about it.
