F6F flap function
« on: November 22, 2008, 11:06:45 AM »
Lost in the other F6F thread is this little tidbit...

F6F flaps were not two position flaps, but could be adjusted to any position where the pilot wanted them within the constraints of air speed. Yes, they did blow up as speed increased.

not tring to be sarcastic.......

they came up automatically with speed increases. are our auto retracting flaps ingame close to the same speeds? i only ask, as they kinda bug me. i'd rather pull em in myself....and if i forget, then take whatever damage comes with it.

thanks sir!
