OK

ju87 G is a must _ Imagine 87 G's flying along side D's for a V-base capture (point being they get there at the same time).  Big botta boom.  Not to mention they can provide a fighter like cover for the D's as well as taking out GV's that escaped the falling school bus bomb-  5 air to air kills in one sortie in a D. Imagine if I woulda had the G :rock

I think a tow behind AT unit & ART/AAA (88's or others) unit would be great (Pull up on site deploy units and supplies take a town down) Think about attacking a town and jeeps, m3's and deuce and a half pull up towing troops AAA, AT & ART all at once.  Town Gone, Air cover, ground cover and troops running.  The targets would be smaller for GV's to hit but easier for AC to hit. So a wash, but fast attack would be a nice option.

This isn't really A new vehicle but tank formations (like bombers) would be nice.  Would be great to if you had a WW in with 2 tanks.  Maybe you could mix up the variation of GV's.  The WW only fires when you have the COAX/Pintnel gun firing.  If this where implemented then it should take alotta perks to make this happen.  The only reason I think this should be introduced is that tank columns where generally pretty big, kinda like bomber formations.  If you have one to be more effective then you should have the other.

MA 2 cents

What are you going to shoot down the planes with in the Ju-87G-1/2?  If you think you're going to do it with those 37mm Flak 18 cannons, you're sorely mistaken.  If anything, the Ju87G-1/2 will be fodder for any fighter that comes along.

I certainly hope no one would be dog fighting a Ju87 G...but I agree the cannons could make it a much more viable ground pounder.  However, for my top three I'd have to opt for:

I'm not picky, so I'll just put out three roles.  The actual vehicles can vary...

1. SP Art + corresponding spotter ride (jeep with binocs would work, as noted)
2. AT tow-behind with HE available.  (I think 88 would be lame though...bring a wirble if you want air cover)
3. Something either bigger or faster than the current PT boats.  Either a quicker version of ours, which could catch CV groups...or perhaps a man-able light frigate.  Something like this ---> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flower_class_corvette perhaps, switching out the depth charges for rockets or some other town/fleet buster weapon.  Naval warfare ftw :)

Yea, I was actually thinking just chop Icon range down to 500 or so...removing MG would be a good idea.  If you knocked out icon entirely, it could add some importance to flora + cover, that's for sure.

Binocs, but no gun.. Probably drop the supplies and troops as well.  Maybe just go for a sidecar instead :)

Grant/Lee Tank ...was used in many many theatres ....Tunisa...the far east ....lead lease Eastern front ...was all over the globe ....would be very useful for  events

Some version of the Panzer III ....probably the short barrelled III-h would be a good choice

British Cruiser III or a Cromwell ......the Cruiser III would be nice for events ...the Cromwell would be semi-useful for all aspects of the game

I'll add one more ....the Kv-1 terrified the germans ....hard not to include something so legendary

Helm ...out

all pieces of %$#@ Oh yah .... The Germans were not afraid of the KV-1. It had the same 76mm as the T-34, usless against Tigers.

Um I shot down 5 AC with 2 MG's.  If I had 37's they would have been toast without all the fuss.  As most of the shooting was done @ 200 or less and inside their cockpit.  I think you still get the Mg's with the G model right?

It retained both the wing mounted 7.92mm machine guns.

However, as I stated in my prior post, if you think you're going to provide CAP with a Stuka, you're going to be in for a long night.  Yes, you may have shot down a plane or two in the Stuka but against an experienced (i.e. non-n00b that you've shot down) fighter, all that will result is a quick trip to the tower for you.

I love taking planes like the Stuka out for some furballing and occasionaly I get lucky and encounter someone that is utterly clueless and tries to angles/stall fight me and I get an easy kill.  However, things don't go so well when I run into a good experienced fighter.  I might put a few pings into him (damn those BBs!) but more often than not, it's me that gets sent back to the tower.  It's just a case where the plane is totally outclassed by even the most basic fighter we have in the game.  YMMV.

Good god man your missing the point............. If you had some 37 on board there wouldnt be the BB issue.  As stated in the starter post It would be a great escort for NOE GV bases and base defense.  I was not saying that it would be a great fighter ....GD

You're missing the point if you think you'll be able to hit a hard maneuvering plane with a 37mm Flak 18 cannon on the G-1/2.  It will not be a good escort for NOE base attacks or as a base defender.  It would not do well in that role at all, especially as an escort as it's probably one of, if not, the slowest plane we have.  A C-47 will out run it.

The 37mm Flak 18 cannon was not designed for A2A work, it's basically a ground gun converted to use as a plane mounted anti-tank weapon.

Yea something like that would be fine.  As I said, either pack a bit more punch / more survivability than our beloved PT boat, or just speed up our PT.  (which would also increase survivability)

Naval warfare lacks in this game, to say the least.  I don't see why we can't have it, as clearly the ground war is at least *partially* established.

   (1) Dewoitine 520

   (2) Swordfish (c'mon sunk big part of Italian fleet at taranto, not to mention Bismarck, tirpitz, others).

   (3)  Yak-3

honorable mentions  Ki-43 (amazing that workhorse not here) or Piaggio bomber.
