RIP to the ones killed.
A day that changed history by quite a bit.
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

My grandfather was onboard the USS Detroit in the United States Navy (North corner of ford island) during the attack. His ship was really lucky cause the 2 other ships nearby got hit. He is a Pearl Harbor survivor and he served on a air craft carrier during Gualacanal, As well as during the Korean War. He is still alive today   :salute
