First, thanks for the complement, as an AH Trainer I NEED to be as you so eloquently put it, a "HT groupie".
One could even say I am THE HT groupie, or fanboi. I've been here doing this longer than most. And I've seen a zillion of your kind come and go.

Second, moot nailed it. If you really like AH, invest the time/money in a trip to the HTC offices. Call and let them know when your coming. Let them show you around for an hour or 2, explain how things are done. Then kick you out the door so they can get back to work. Considering all they have to do, and the limited crew that they do it with, HTC does amazing things.

well most of you if not all of you are in Hitech's groupie club, and i still think they should get a at least one more person to programming, if they cant go faster without, if they cant get going a little faster than at least post a insider to whats coming next on THE FRONT PAGE BULLETIN, i mean thats what its there for. and i dont feel like quitting, well maybe when i get my 1g memory stick and a FSX gold addition or something, but what most of you guys say, i would like to hear from dale his self, i start to think they say stuff to buy time, but thats very seldom of me, but still i dont usually have time to play so i just check the front bulletin and get to aces high, but they dont use the front bulletin that much anymore, but thats all i ask of now, noir knows how to put what im saying in his own better perspective

All the programming in the world isn't going to change the fact that in the last full month you played, over half of your 64 kills came in gv's, and out of 131 fighter sorties, you managed 16 kills....perhaps learn how to efficiently win fights with one of the existing planes, instead of searching for some magical plane which hasn't yet been released that will suddenly help you make enemy planes fall from the sky ;)

The naivety ( I know, big word, but I hate calling people stupid) of some people just amazes me!

First off, you pay $15 to play the game "as is" you are not paying for what might come down the line. When you buy a game system you get the game system, NOT the new one that will be coming out next year. Same with the games, you buy Fallout, you get fallout, NOT Fallout II. If you are not happy with, or embarrassed with the game. leave. It's as simple as that.

Add a new programmer.... LOL!!! have you got a clue? Do you know what a decent programmer costs? As an example, my son just graduated from college with a bachelors in  computer science. He was lucky and got into a security software company as one of their helpdesk techs. He repairs both hardware and software issues in the companies computers, so he is NOT a programmer. They started him at 45k, and they are teaching him to be one of their programmers. So as that as an example/starting point we could say a decent programmer is going to run in the 65k area, most likely more. With a little math, we can see that it take 360 new subscribers to cover that paycheck. How many friends do you have that YOU can get subscribed?  :D

I want, give me, give me!!! WHAAAAAAAAAA !!!! Grow up, nothing in life is perfect, and NO ONE is going to cater to you for anything except all the spoiling mommy and daddy have done.

I think my rant was right into the context if the OP was happy to hear it !
The context is that HTC can pop out updates just fine, when they're not bogged down with a huge side project. I won't deny that I have the same pov as your friend.. Years gone by and very very little new in the game.  But I take it for what it is, in its context.

well maybe when i get stuck to the game and get to platinum i can answer that, and you cant learn much when everyone does the same. what have you contributed to the game, besides almost 10,000 posts?

A Hell of a lot more than you will ever contribute to this community.

i havent seen one new plane added to aces high since i started playing around a year ago, one tank, but this is supposed to be a FLYING game. and for gods sake, you would think that after so many requests for the HE-111, HT would finally listen. i dont think they even read these forums. :huh

The last update in which HTC added an aircraft was in April of 2008 (this year) in V2.12 when they added the P39D and Q and remodeled the task fleet, along with many other plane updates. The P39 and the T34/85 were both wished for constantly here on the forums.
Edit; sorry, it was March.

I was happy enough in 1995 with essentially stick figures in AW

No kidding...how long did us AW'ers have to wait for a meaningful update?  Wasn't it something like 4-5 years?

Beej, he's speechless!!!!!    :rofl

(Edit).   P1, we all know what is going on.   You and toetoe seem to be very selfish and impatient.   You trash one of the kindest people this Community has and "are still demanding".    Yeah, hey I know!!!  Scream and wail louder, they'll HAVE TO LISTEN then right?
