You pay 14.95$ a month for arena access, and thats a bargain.

your opinion. $15pm puts in the Premium category for online gaming, for premium price consumers expect premium product. no surprise then that some subscribers have high expectations of HT and would like them to "step up" in some areas.

Give it a rest... HTC poured everything they had into a risky all or nothing bet, and lost. They didnt do it out of neglect for the players, they did it cause it seemed like it was worthwhile.  Meanwhile you sit on your bellybutton and scream 'my 15bucks!', not contributing anything to push HTC's ball forward..

Poop happens. Move on; HTC has. If you want to complain about HTC's output in NORMAL conditions, look back before CT development happened.. We were getting planes and other updates way more often, plenty to keep everyone happy, all on a tiny 4-5 man crew.
Just sit back and watch what they're going to do now that they're back to normal conditions, and THEN make your judgement.  Don't judge it till it's done.

If you haven't even been at this 6 months and you're bored with the 40-odd available planes, adding one or two more, or perhaps some more eye-candy, isn't going to change your long-view. I was happy enough in 1995 with essentially stick figures in AW--your enjoyment has to come from the adrenalin rush of aerial combat....if that isn't enough, (or you aren't very good at it) no amount of new planes, addons, etc are gonna make you happy  :frown:

Put it into even more perspective:  50 cents a day.

But come on.  Lighten up.  These are the people who buy new cars and appliances every year or two to be trendy.  Manufacturers cater to these people.  Same thing, different color.  This year's red is yellow.

This game cost you nothing.  Play FSX every day do you?  Were you able to upgrade your original Flight Simulator to FSX over the last 25 years?  For free?

Sounds like to me that those of you who are "embarrassed" or "unhappy" with AH2 are essentially wasting $15 a month.  Just think, you could be eating at McDonald's twice a month more.

well most of you if not all of you are in Hitech's groupie club, and i still think they should get a at least one more person to programming, if they cant go faster without, if they cant get going a little faster than at least post a insider to whats coming next on THE FRONT PAGE BULLETIN, i mean thats what its there for. and i dont feel like quitting, well maybe when i get my 1g memory stick and a FSX gold addition or something, but what most of you guys say, i would like to hear from dale his self, i start to think they say stuff to buy time, but thats very seldom of me, but still i dont usually have time to play so i just check the front bulletin and get to aces high, but they dont use the front bulletin that much anymore, but thats all i ask of now, noir knows how to put what im saying in his own better perspective

new cars and appliances huh? could make more money over time if the spent more time in money in the game, it would practically run itself, and i know the same people that say it costs a lot to keep this game running are going to say it already runs itself

P1Tiger do everyone a favor and can it until you've gone to HTC in person and seen how wrong you are with your own eyes.  You obviously cant be reasoned with unless it's to tell you what you want to hear, e.g. Noir's out of context rant.

You do know that periods (.) are free?
So could you step up the use of them?

Quit then. HTC is doing a hell of a lot better than any other online flight sim (respectively of course). If you don't like them, leave, but don't tell them how to run the show they've been for probably 10 years, they've obviously got everything under control, and have had everything under control.

HTC is a hell of alot better than any other combat flight sim I've tried, period. And I've tried CFS, Il2, some of Third Wire's stuff, and a few others here and there. And a huge proportion of this superiority is the viewing system. I don't know why every other combat flight sim out there hasn't more or less copied this and the other outstanding features of AHII, like built-in comms.
