Mason has some skill and is a good flier. That wasnt the intention of the thread at all. I wanted him to post film of what he called "a gang bang" not question how good he is.

I watched him line up the merge to ho you, and that was his only offensive move.  It was his intent from the get go.  It didn't just "happen, he PLANNED for that shot, took it, and hauled tookus out of there.

Which is really poor flying.

There you were (Stodd) in a 1 on 1 zeke vs. zeke (well, you were CHASING a zeke who didn't want to fight IIRC) and here comes mason with a Ho and Haul.

Had he made ANY OFFENSIVE MANEUVER after that I wouldn't be near as critical of 'em.  But alas he didn't.

Not even when the zeke came back in and you two were mixing it up after the weenie Ho n' Haul.

Ho n' Haul types need to be called on it.  It's a piss poor way to fly/fight and we the community should shame them.

If the community shamed them all, there'd be about 3/4 of the players on the outs. Real fights are almost nonexistent anymore.

Lute, ive flown with you (same country) and against you, and i have nothing against you. That comment you made, really made me wonder about some people i have no problems with. Assuming someone always flies the same way they do in 1 video is lame. Im not turn fighting a zeke for 1, and 2, if I'm the only one doing it in game (even though i only did this once) I plan on being told that, may as well be different while im on the earth, no? Im not easily put down, and dont get me wrong, i have nothing agaisnt most payers on here (its just a game, why make it that personal?), but if people want to assume things about me, i sure as hell will assume things about them based on 1 clip of flying i see them do. simple as that.

When you are flying a F4F why WOULDN'T you turn with a zeke?

Why would one take off in one of the better turning planes in the game if not to turn with it?

Or an even better question is why even attack stodd in the first place if you were just going to Ho n' Haul?

Stodd was already in a fight.  Just merging with 'em put him out of position for the other zeke so why WOULN'T you keep the pressure on Stodd?  I guess what I am saying is you could have at least TRIED.  Can't learn if you don't try.

Now i'm not saying you have to just barrel in and knife fight, but heck son, it was an F4F and a zeke vs. a zeke otd.  What about a similar/same 2 on 1 matchup scared ya'?  IF you died there is always another plane you can grab.  Ya' won't learn ACM by Ho n' Hauling.

You are also correct about judging someone on one film alone.

I ended up watching 4-5 of yours before I posted.  The common "theme" seemed to be either you vulching in a hoard, or you HO'n someone.

Did I miss the film where you mixed it up in a fair fight (or dare I say possibly outnumbered?) and beat a decent pilot(s) straight up using your skill and ability?  Please let me know which film has THAT on it and I will be happy to watch it and extend my kudos.

I don't really want to jump on you stodd....... Actually do think you're alright.  But.........

However my view's remain the same about shooting on the merge.

The way I see it, or rather, the way I will play it...... If the enemy looks to be head-on for a merge, I will turn to ho.  PERIOD.  Always, every time....  Anybody who is going head-on, is one of two people...... NEW or wanting to ho. 

So I would almost want to say that you brotha, were asking for it.  So was MasonZ.

 masonz was at a min. of 30 degrees off his nose, and cleanly passed behind him.
there was no chance of returning fire in that instance. no way he could've brought his guns to bear there.

i'd agree with ya, if he had ho'd and ran. fact is, he shot off angle. was actually a nice shot. i know i'd have missed it. then he continued on, and just before the end of the film engaged 2 more zekes.

i fail to see where the problem is here? should he have not cleared his countrymans six? should he have left todd pass, and end up in a 3-1 rather than a 2-1?
