Could be that Starbuck is a Cylon but from the other Cylon colony that escaped the destruction of Earth.  Maybe they're the "Beings of Light" in this version of BSG.

Im hoping she isnt a cylon because at one point she was sitting in judgment with two cylons upon collaborators with the cylons. I found it interesting that the chief pointed out boomer tonight as if he had a good cylon sniffer all of the sudden and then also the meek of the people inheriting the big guns. That cant end well.

I think the only reason he "sniffed" her out (no pun intended) is because at one time he was fraking her every other moment that he could plus the fact that she completely broke his heart ANd shot the old man.

Boy wouldn't making Starbuck a guy really throw the fans into a homo-erotic loop since she has "slept" with at least two other characters and married one of them!

actually IIRC she has fraked 3. Guius, Apollo, Sanders ...well maybe 4 I'm not sure if she did the nasty with the Cylon leobin or not

That would explain thing alot plus make it all nice and tidy but, since when have the writers made anything nice and tidy? If your right they will throw in some wicked twist nobody saw comming

I'm really glad some of you guys aren't writing for the show..

Your probably right, as far as the story line goes BUT, ya gotta admit there would be ALOT more dogfighting and space battles!  :rock
Crap now I gotta redo my cool sig.....crap!!! I cant remeber how to do it all !!!!!

Looks like next week episode is going to have more info about Starbuck.  I wouldn't be surprised to see her storyline being tied into the 'other colony' in some way.  However I don't know how they are going to explain why her viper resurrected.

Last night's episode was pretty weak imo.  Nothing really compelling happened.

Well I agree that not really good happened it did have a bunch of plot setups for the last few episodes. Any one know if they are going to do a full cinema movie in the not to distant future?

I hope they do. This one has been a stinker most of the time with only a few good episodes.

Based off the original though.

Silly idea considering the quality of the re-imagined series to bother going back

hah yea I watch it. it's not star trek nerdy. its funny how they reinvented the fbomb :D:D:D

only thing I dont like about it is starbuck, i really hate her character and I dont like the actress either.. i always hope they kill her character off but i guess theyll never do it.
