You'll be hard pressed to find an Australian who drinks Fosters.

The stuff we get here is very, very awful and it stinks.

Just opening a bottle will smell a whole room out and have people asking you "What the f - k are you drinking, man? :huh ".

Overseas brew will be different, of course, but the Aussie stuff is rubbish.

Most beers are like that.

Guinness comes to mind.  A pint in Ireland is almost a completely different beer than the Guinness that is served here in the states.

Honestly I've never had a mass-produced beer better than Sam Adams (the Boston Lager).  If the place I'm at has it, that's what I get.  I will say though that something goes wrong when its bottled, its still damn good, but its best when poured off draft.

I'm lucky to have a world class microbrewery 20 minutes (walking time, I don't drink and drive) from where I live.  http://www.lafayettebrewingco.com/ales.html .  My favorite beer of theirs is a seasonal that is now in season, their Smokehouse Porter.  I just wish they'd make it all year long.

I'm too old to really care about what beer happens to be trendy...
And I've never been fond of heavy thick beers, or too much bitterness..
Beer, should taste like BEER.. So that leaves out that citrus stuff too..

When I'm at the races, and its close to 100 degrees.. The track is drying
out faster than they can water it.. Just finished 2nd in my 250GP heat race..
I've been so close to the #1 guy that I have a mouthfull of his roost/dust..
Thick, heavy, bitter, or fruity beers just won't cut it man...

When I pull into the tent, I need something that goes down smooth and
fast, with that sweet BURN in the back of my throat.. AGGGHHHHH!!!
Mmmm, what a sweet sensation!!! It'll make your eyes roll up in your head...

Nothing else gives me that like Budwieser!!!  Kokanee is good too tho...

3 or 4 Buds, and I'm ready for the Open Class GP... Thats when I get
that crazy Kamikazi look in my eyes, LOL!!!  Holeshot city man!!!

You..... Just might be a Redneck!  ;)

Im no "beer snob"
I'll drink just about any beer but Bud, Miller, OR Blatz (The all time worst beer)

But if sitting down with a bunch of friends while sober. and given a choice between Bud or nothing. 99% of the time I'll take nothing.
In fact pretty much did that just two weeks ago.
All that was there was Bud for the adults. And Hawaiian Punch  for the kiddies.
I took the Hawaiian Punch.
If Im alread hafl in the bag I'll drink Bud though. Because at that point most beers all taste the same.

Oh and" that sweet BURN" in the back of your throat when you drink Bud
Thats called bile. LOL

LOL!!! Yeah well, I might very well be a Redneck to some...
But, Im A RICH AND SUCCESSFUL REDNECK!!!

I look out the floor to ceiling windows of my gorgeous 4k sqft home in
vacationland, and I own everything that I can see.. I can step out
on the deck, and fire a 45/70 in any direction.. Without the bullet
leaving my property... The Elk graze next to my cattle in the pasture..
I can ride my horse to the border of my land and take in some of the
best flyfishing in the country... Salmon, Steelhead, Dolly varden, Cutties..
ALL private, tourists get stopped at the gate... Unless they PAY ME, LOL!!!

I'm carrying no bank paper for anything anymore either, WOOOHOOO!!
And best of all, I answer to NO ONE!!!

Sittin here right now, chompin on cherry smoked king salmon, sippin a Chevas,
and tokin a big sticky WA state greenbud... Life is good!!!

Mmmm, I used to be a city boy.. Packed in like a sardine.. Left that behind
many years ago..  So, If this is what a redneck is?   I'm LOVIN IT!!!
Love my Budweiser too!!!
